Dec 24, 2008. Lionel read that Vaseline was a good treatment for cradle cap, so we smeared Nikolas' head with it. Of course, nothing tells you how to get the Vaseline out of hair... I'm convinced the babies they use it on are bald. We tried baby shampoo several times, then since that isn't meant to strip oils Lionel read that cornstarch can be rubbed in and then the Vaseline combed out. That didn't work. Then we tried 2 rounds of dish soap thinking it's best at cutting fat. No luck. Then I thought that something hydrophobic would do the trick and we did 3 rounds of canola oil, followed by two round of baby shampoo. At least Nikolas enjoyed all the attention! LOL.
